What to expect....

When you're thinking about getting a vasectomy there are multiple questions that are running through your mind...How long am I going to be out of work? Is it painful? How long does it take? At Gillespie County Urology we don't want you to rush into a lifelong decision, that is why we start with a consult appointment. At this appointment we will go over what to expect, the procedure, your recovery, and any other questions or concerns you may have. When you decide that a vasectomy is the option for you, we will be happy to schedule you. We typically do these procedures on a Friday so patients can recover over the weekend and be ready to go back to work on Monday.

Starting January 1st, 2024, vasectomy must be paid in full at time of service.

We will file with your insurance and reimburse you based on the final insurance payment.
This cost does not include the lab fee associated with vasectomy. This fee is billed separately from our clinic.
